Wine & Cheese Tasting & Pics

Last night (12th Sept) Onyx, Vidal Winery and Over the Moon Cheese hosted a wine and cheese fundraising event for "Blue September" with a portion of the proceeds going to prostate cancer research. We received some additional generous donors on the night and are very delighted to announce, in total we raised $610.73! The food and company were amazing - with Onyx Chefs creating the perfect complementary canape matches for each wine and cheese sample. Just to name one, the Lamb Shank and Green Peppercorn Spring Rolls were the ideal accompaniment for a Hawkes Bay 2016 Merlot Cab Sauv and teamed with an exceptional buffalo and cows milk Blue Cheese. We were fortunate to have Graeme Montgomery from the Cambridge Prostate Support Group speak to the guests with some facts and advice about men's health. We were very proud to support the Blue September Organisation, and wish to extend our thanks to everyone involved in making the night a wonderful success! It was a wonderful evening of wine and cheese tasting.
